Job Summary
A company is looking for a Head of Global Incident Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize the global 24/7 incident response team, ensuring effective collaboration and escalation
- Develop and manage the incident response strategy and roadmap, aligning with company reliability standards
- Analyze incidents to drive improvements and collaborate with engineering to enhance incident response workflows
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of management experience, including 4+ years managing managers
- 8+ years of experience in incident response for large-scale distributed services with high SLOs/SLAs
- Proven ability to lead strategic projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in basic incident troubleshooting and familiarity with SQL, Splunk, or similar query languages
- Ability to adapt communication for diverse audiences, including executives and internal teams
