Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned inventory control expert, the remote Head of Global Inventory Control Manager will manage the global inventory control program, ensuring inventory accuracy, shrink control, and compliance with SOX regulations across a growing fulfillment network.
Key responsibilities
- Own book vs. physical accuracy targets and implement shrink control frameworks across all global nodes
- Execute the global cycle count cadence strategy and oversee audit protocols across facilities and 3PL partners
- Drive cross-functional root cause analysis on inventory variances and maintain SOX-compliant inventory controls
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in inventory control, fulfillment operations, or supply chain at a high-volume retailer or logistics company
- Experience maintaining SOX compliance for inventory processes, including control documentation
- Deep WMS expertise, including configuration, auditing, and troubleshooting of inventory records
- Proven ability to build global SOPs from scratch and drive adoption across distributed teams
- Strong analytics literacy, capable of writing SQL and building reconciliation models independently
