Job Summary
Co-leading the development and execution of global medical strategies, the full-time remote Global Medical Affairs Lead (GMAL) for Rare Disease will provide medical leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with key stakeholders to advance Amgen's portfolio in this therapeutic area.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide medical leadership and strategic direction for the global portfolio in Rare Disease
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute global medical strategies and plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders to support scientific objectives
Required qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 4 years, Master's degree and 7 years, or Bachelor's degree and 9 years of medical asset leadership experience
- Preferred MD with fellowship in Rheumatology or Allergy and Immunology, or PharmD/PhD
- 6 years of medical affairs or clinical development experience, particularly in rare diseases
- Minimum 2-3 years of people management experience
- Demonstrated ability as a medical expert in rheumatological or rare diseases
