Global Payroll Director

Job Summary

Overseeing and managing payroll operations across multiple countries, the remote Global Payroll Director will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for all employees while collaborating with HR, Finance, and external vendors in a fast-paced international software environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage global payroll operations for EMEA, Americas, and APJ regions
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including for expatriates and remote workers
• Maintain compliance with local, national, and international payroll laws and tax regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 15+ years of experience managing multi-country payroll operations, preferably in the software or technology sector
• Strong understanding of global payroll regulations, compliance, and tax issues
• Proficiency with payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday)
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
