Job Summary
As a full-time Global Payroll Specialist working remotely from Ontario or Nova Scotia, the successful candidate will manage payroll administration for Spektrix employees across multiple regions, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer payroll for approximately 250 employees across various regions, including bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing exceptional service and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll setup for new hires and maintain compliance with payroll tax regulations
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a Payroll or HR Generalist role with payroll administration responsibilities
- Experience administering payroll in the UK or US, with knowledge of local payroll laws and regulations
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience with retirement and pension plan administration is a plus
- Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
