Job Summary
To lead a transformative recruiting effort, the full-time remote Global Talent Acquisition Director will manage a team focused on building global sourcing capabilities, enhancing recruiting operations, and developing strategic workforce planning to support organizational growth across multiple continents.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of recruiters and coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Establish and optimize recruiting operations, including metrics, processes, and technology integration to enhance candidate experience and hiring quality
- Build and implement global sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent across diverse markets, particularly in Africa and beyond
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, including experience in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Proven track record of scaling recruiting functions during periods of hypergrowth or significant organizational change
- Experience in global workforce planning and collaborating with senior leadership on talent decisions
- Strong command of recruiting operations, including ATS management and data-driven decision-making
- Background in a global non-profit or mission-driven organization with a focus on Africa preferred
