Job Summary
To support the company's financial and business goals, the full-time Global Tax Planning Manager will coordinate and implement global tax planning initiatives, research and analyze tax laws, and assist with mergers and acquisitions, with a preference for candidates based in the Greater Columbus, OH area or remote in the Eastern and Central Time Zones.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement global tax planning initiatives while analyzing U.S. and non-U.S. tax laws and regulations
- Assist with workstreams related to mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions, partnering with various departments to implement tax strategies
- Research and document changes to key legislation impacting the company and manage external resources for tax planning projects
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of International Tax/Tax Planning experience at a Big Four Public Accounting Firm or Law Firm, or 7+ years of global tax experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
- MST and/or a Law Degree and/or a CPA is preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and international tax rules, including U.S. tax reform
- Experience in project management and tax planning with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
