Global Trade Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting Viasat's compliance with international trade regulations, the full-time Global Trade Compliance Analyst will determine classification designations, interpret trade regulations, and provide guidance to personnel while working remotely or in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Determine and document classification designations for parts, equipment, and technology
- Interpret international trade regulations and apply them as necessary
- Provide guidance and requirements to Viasat personnel concerning international trade regulations
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in regulatory trade compliance
- Familiarity with export control and international trade concepts, including ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and FTR
- Experience with OCR EASE, DECCS, SNAP-R, and ACE
- Ability to work with minimal day-to-day guidance
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
