Global Trade Compliance Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking an innovative and analytical Global Trade Compliance Consultant, the remote position will manage compliance trade requests, process documentation for U.S. imports, and provide guidance on international business activities while ensuring adherence to U.S. regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle internal and external customer compliance trade requests and process documentation related to U.S. imports
• Provide advisory classifications for product harmonized tariffs and manage inquiries from U.S. Customs
• Conduct training, risk assessments, and internal audits while driving improvements in established trade processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of international trade experience with a broad knowledge of import trade compliance
• Licensed Customs Broker preferred but not required
• Prior experience with a U.S. customs broker and as an importer or USPPI/exporter is beneficial
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
