Global Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Global Trade Specialist to manage and oversee Global Trade compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage global trade compliance requirements and improve efficiencies in the global supply chain
• Classify imports and exports according to applicable regulatory regimes and oversee related processes
• Develop and conduct global trade compliance training and monitor regulatory changes affecting compliance

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in U.S. export control (operational, government, law firm, or consulting)
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Knowledge of U.S. export regulations including EAR and ITAR
• Knowledge of U.S. import regulations and non-U.S. trade regulations is preferred
• Experience with government agencies or freight forwarding/custom brokerage is advantageous
