Global Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting global trade compliance initiatives, the full-time Global Trade Compliance Specialist will interpret international trade regulations, classify products, and provide guidance to ensure compliance with import and export requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Determine and document classification designations for parts, equipment, and technology
• Interpret and apply international trade regulations, ensuring proper use of export authorizations
• Review contracts for global trade requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes

Required qualifications

• 8 years of experience in regulatory trade compliance
• Extensive understanding of export control and international trade concepts, including ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and FTR
• Experience with product classification and familiarity with OCR EASE, DECCS, SNAP-R, and ACE
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
