Global Transplant Revenue Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for end-to-end billing and revenue integrity activities, the full-time Global Transplant Revenue Specialist will manage complex billing workflows for transplant patients remotely, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement across various payer contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-phase billing processes from patient evaluation through post-transplant
• Submit and follow up on transplant claims with commercial and government payers
• Collaborate with financial counselors and authorization teams to resolve billing issues

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service or a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and third-party reimbursement
• Ability to work in multiple databases for management and reporting
• Familiarity with OSUMC and its entities is preferred
