Job Summary
To support the development of cutting-edge aerospace technology, the fully remote GNC Engineer II will design, develop, and validate GNC algorithms and flight software for spacecraft and aerial vehicle platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop GNC algorithms for attitude and orbit control, and implement flight control algorithms onto hardware
- Conduct spacecraft dynamics analysis and simulations to evaluate system performance and define fault detection strategies
- Develop and execute test plans for GNC systems, supporting flight test operations and analyzing telemetry data for anomaly resolution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of professional experience in GNC, spacecraft dynamics, or flight testing
- Strong knowledge of orbital mechanics and control theory
- Proficiency in programming tools such as C/C++, MATLAB, and Python
- Familiarity with GNC hardware components and simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink
