GNC Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Guidance, Navigation and Controls Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing GNC engineering team for UAV software development
• Provide technical direction and oversee GNC algorithm architecture for compliance and safety
• Coordinate project scope, resources, and schedules with cross-functional teams for software delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 7+ years of GNC engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Expertise in Matlab/Simulink and auto-code generation for embedded systems
• Advanced knowledge of control theory, flight dynamics, and embedded systems
• Familiarity with safety-critical systems and certification standards such as DO-178C and ARP4754
