Job Summary

To support the development of the Skylark corrections engine, the full-time High-Accuracy GNSS Algorithms Engineer will design and implement advanced GNSS algorithms, provide technical leadership, and manage the full lifecycle of features in a remote setting for candidates located in Europe or Canada.

Key responsibilities
  • Define, design, implement, and document new features in Swift's GNSS corrections engine, focusing on advanced user positioning algorithms
  • Provide technical leadership on cross-cutting engineering projects, including atmospheric modeling and correction generation
  • Collaborate with team leads and stakeholders to ensure technical alignment across releases while mentoring engineers within the Skylark team
Required qualifications
  • Strong background in GNSS positioning algorithms, particularly PPP, RTK, or SSR-based correction systems
  • Deep understanding of atmospheric effects on GNSS signals and approaches to model and mitigate them
  • Demonstrated technical leadership on large-scale projects delivered to production
  • Proficiency in modern C++ and experience with clean, performant, well-tested code
  • Experience with Git or equivalent version control systems and modern software engineering practices
