Go Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Hospitality division, the full-time remote Go Backend Cloud Native Engineer will design and implement a transition from a modular monolith to a cloud-native microservices architecture, focusing on building a robust Go backend platform and establishing architectural standards for distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the transition to a cloud-native microservices architecture
• Establish architectural standards for resilience, consistency, and observability in distributed systems
• Implement deployment practices on Kubernetes and integrate messaging systems for asynchronous processing

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a cloud-native technical/development environment
• Proficiency in backend development using Go for production cloud-native systems
• Experience with microservices design and API security practices
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker and deployment in Kubernetes
• High or upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English and Spanish
