Google Cloud Certified Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Driving operational excellence, the full-time Senior Cloud Operations Reliability Engineer will enhance the reliability of cloud-based services by managing critical reliability initiatives, leading incident response coordination, and developing automation to improve service availability and resiliency in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own service reliability by establishing and maintaining SLOs/SLIs, and designing monitoring and alerting strategies
• Lead incident response coordination, including troubleshooting complex production issues and conducting root cause analysis
• Design and implement reliability-focused automation and operational tooling to improve response consistency and reduce manual toil

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline
• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud service providers
• Proven expertise in incident management and post-incident review processes
• Google Cloud certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Operations Engineer or equivalent AWS certification
