Google Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Google Cloud Engineer to support a federal government program.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for a federal Trusted Internet Connection initiative
• Implement and manage firewalls, network security policies, and secure connectivity solutions in compliance with government security requirements
• Collaborate with an AWS Architect to integrate AWS and GCP environments into a unified trusted internet architecture

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen (required by federal contract)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Google Cloud Professional Certification (Cloud Engineer, Architect, or Security Engineer)
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on Google Cloud
• Strong experience with firewall technologies and cloud networking best practices
