Google Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the stability and security of technological resources, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform while working remotely within the continental U.S. and aligning work hours to Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Lead the development and implementation of security protocols and best practices across cloud infrastructure, including identity and access management and data encryption
• Maintain and advance expertise by pursuing and maintaining Google Cloud Professional certifications

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a similar infrastructure engineering role
• Deep expertise with at least one major cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Proven experience implementing security controls within federal frameworks, specifically NIST (800-53/800-171) and DoD Cloud SRG
• Hands-on experience with the Authority to Operate (ATO) process and System Security Plans (SSPs)
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
