Job Summary
To ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of technological resources, the full-time Infrastructure Lead will manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, lead security management initiatives, and provide team leadership in a fully remote capacity aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Lead the development and implementation of security protocols, including identity and access management and data encryption, to ensure compliance and protect sensitive information
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on infrastructure projects while coordinating with other departments to align IT infrastructure with business objectives
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure management or a lead role
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its various services
- Proven experience in security management and a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles
- At least one Google Cloud Professional certification, such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
