Job Summary

To support a growing team, the contract-to-hire Google Workspace Engineer will manage day-to-day incident response and Tier 3 support with a focus on Gmail reliability and complex technical issues in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead incident response and troubleshooting for complex Gmail issues, including mail flow and performance
  • Diagnose and resolve email infrastructure issues, including mail routing and authentication configurations
  • Utilize automation and scripting tools to improve operational efficiency and support incident response efforts
Required qualifications
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Workspace Admin SDK for administrative-level investigations and domain-wide settings management
  • Proficient in using Gmail API and REST API for programmatic issue resolution and automation
  • Experience with PowerShell and Python for developing automation scripts and enhancing operational efficiency
  • Strong background in diagnosing and resolving issues related to email infrastructure and security compliance
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring incidents
