Google Workspace Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large, globally distributed user base, the contract Google Workspace Application Engineer II will administer and enhance an enterprise Google Workspace environment while collaborating with IT and cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve security and automation remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support core Google Workspace services including Gmail, Drive, and Calendar
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated support requests beyond Help Desk scope
• Enhance security configurations and build automation tools to streamline operations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Google Workspace administration experience
• Advanced proficiency with Google Admin Console and managing complex organizational structures
• Experience writing and executing GAM scripts for automation
• Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in a remote environment
