Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Director, Governance Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a governance framework to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
• Monitor adherence to governance policies and standards, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
• Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and facilitate communication between risk committees

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degrees preferred; High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management or internal audit in the banking sector
• Substantial experience in leading risk governance or Operational Risk Management programs
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the banking sector
• Deep understanding of governance, banking regulations, and risk management frameworks
