Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the full-time Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst will manage information and data governance programs, conduct compliance reviews, and collaborate on security initiatives, with the option to work remotely or from the Kansas City office.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in activities related to information and data governance programs
• Conduct reviews of Outside Counsel Guidelines and complete client security questionnaires
• Advise on information governance topics and monitor compliance with data governance policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience in information security, focusing on information and data governance
• Strong knowledge of risk and controls, including familiarity with COSO, COBIT, ISO, NIST, and ITIL frameworks
• Practical experience with information security risk assessments and audits
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a changing environment
