Government Affairs Advisor - NC, MD, VA

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Government Affairs Advisor for North Carolina, Maryland, or Virginia only.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a lobbyist and representative with state executive, legislative, and administrative branches
• Monitor and analyze state regulatory activity to influence policy makers and secure supportive legislation
• Develop and maintain relationships with officials and stakeholders to achieve company goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
• 8+ years of experience in a related field
• In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in a related field
• Experience in health care policy or government advocacy is highly preferred
• Experience working at or with the US Congress is highly preferred
