Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Government Affairs Analyst will collaborate with federal stakeholders to analyze and communicate federal legislation and regulations, support advocacy efforts, and provide technical guidance to various departments.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Federal Affairs leadership and external stakeholders to advance organizational priorities
- Track, analyze, and summarize relevant federal legislation and regulations, articulating their implications for business leaders
- Provide technical support regarding federal guidance and act as a subject matter expert during implementation activities
Required qualifications
- J.D. strongly preferred; Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of five years' experience requiring independent judgment and initiative
- Previous experience in a managed care setting and/or regulatory environment preferred
- Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid preferred
- Health care and/or public policy degree strongly preferred
