Job Summary
Seeking a full-time hybrid Government Affairs Director, the successful candidate will identify and monitor legislative issues, establish relationships with congressional offices, and draft advocacy materials while contributing to public speaking engagements and meetings.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and monitor legislative and regulatory issues
- Establish and maintain relationships with congressional offices
- Draft letters, articles, and advocacy materials
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of related experience in governmental/congressional affairs, including 2+ years in a healthcare membership organization
- Experience with Capitol Hill or related agency preferred
- Ability to communicate complex policy initiatives effectively
- Willingness to travel for meetings and events
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills for remote work
