Job Summary
Driving legislative strategies and managing state-level relationships, the full-time remote Government Affairs Manager will oversee lobbying efforts, engage with stakeholders, and support sales initiatives to enhance school safety, corrections, and municipal security.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with lobbyists and track state legislation related to safety and security
- Develop and execute state and local procurement strategies while engaging with agency leaders
- Collaborate with sales teams to align legislative activities with business opportunities
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or legislative lobbying
- Strong understanding of the legislative process and political landscapes
- Proven ability to manage external consultants and lobbying firms
- Experience influencing stakeholders at local and state government levels
- Must reside in a Mountain or Pacific time zone state
