Job Summary

To support the company's growth initiatives, the fully remote Government Affairs Manager will manage legislative strategies, oversee lobbying efforts, and build state-level relationships to enhance school safety, corrections, and municipal security.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage retained lobbyists and lobbying firms, monitoring state legislation and policy related to safety and security
  • Develop and execute state and local procurement strategies while engaging with agency leaders to foster relationships
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align legislative activities with sales opportunities and represent the company at industry events
Required qualifications
  • Proven experience in government affairs, lobbying, or public policy
  • Strong understanding of legislative processes and state-level procurement
  • Experience building relationships with government agencies and advocacy groups
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and priorities effectively
