Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Affairs Specialist Lead to support government relations and advocacy strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver public policy strategies and communications in collaboration with business leaders
  • Advocate for the company's interests through external lobbying resources and trade organizations
  • Work closely with senior leaders and the Government Affairs team on legislative and regulatory issues
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Experience in government relations, advocacy, public policy, or related business activities
  • Prior experience with property and casualty insurance regulatory and/or government relations
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with governmental agencies, legislators, and external organizations
  • Experience in developing and delivering public policy strategies and communications
