Job Summary

A company is looking for a Governmental Affairs Strategy Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee governmental relations strategies and monitor legislative activity related to cooperative purchasing
  • Review and interpret proposed legislative changes and advise stakeholders on their potential impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop white papers, talking points, and educational materials regarding legislative changes
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science or a related legal field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in legislative or governmental affairs
  • Experience in a senior legislative capacity for a state senator or executive cabinet department
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a remote environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs and understanding of database management systems
