Job Summary

Government Communications Team Lead, a full-time position responsible for leading communication efforts and providing support for the U.S. Coast Guard's strategic planning and communications, including writing, planning, and media outreach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead team performance and ensure quality assurance for communication products
  • Develop and implement communication plans and write various communication materials
  • Oversee media coverage screening and support event planning and execution
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of experience in communication strategy for government programs
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred
  • Experience with the Associated Press Stylebook and knowledge of Coast Guard style guide preferred
  • Familiarity with Section 508 Compliance requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance; U.S. Coast Guard experience is highly preferred
