Government Contract Closeout Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Government Contract Closeout Billing Specialist will manage the preparation of final government contract invoices, ensure billing accuracy in compliance with regulations, and support cash flow maximization efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare final invoices and necessary invoicing schedules for government contracts
• Review billing practices to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and DCAA requirements
• Follow up on collections of issued invoices until payment is received

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• U.S. Citizenship
• Minimum 5 years of relevant billing experience in government contracting
• Experience with Costpoint
• Strong knowledge of Excel and collections processes
