Government Contracting Specialist

Job Summary

Overseeing and supporting the full lifecycle of government contracting activities, the full-time Government Contracting Specialist will collaborate with various teams to manage federal contracts, ensure compliance, and engage with government customers in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of federal contracts, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency requirements
• Support proposal development, pricing strategy, and submission processes for government contracts
• Serve as a liaison with contracting officers and maintain strategic relationships across the federal contracting ecosystem

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in federal government contracting, procurement, or contract administration
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
• Experience with contracts involving agencies such as the DoD, FAA, NASA, or DHS
• Familiarity with software, SaaS, aerospace, aviation, or defense technology environments
• Experience supporting both prime and subcontractor engagements
