Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel, Government Contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and negotiating government prime contract and subcontract provisions
  • Advising internal teams on federal contracting requirements and contract risk mitigation strategies
  • Leading or supporting ethics and compliance activities related to government contracting
Required Qualifications
  • Earn a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Obtain a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Maintain an active license to practice law in one or more relevant jurisdictions
  • Demonstrate a minimum of five years of relevant legal experience in government contracting
  • Apply strategic thinking and negotiation skills when reviewing and structuring contract provisions
