To support a global technology company in the aerospace and defense sectors, the full-time Government Contracts Counsel will provide strategic legal advice on government contracting, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance while working remotely for a six-month contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to senior leadership, providing business-focused legal guidance
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and government-related agreements throughout the contract lifecycle
- Advise on U.S. government contracting regulations and support international expansion initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 7+ years of legal experience focused on U.S. federal government contracting
- Significant experience advising on FAR, DFARS, and related government procurement regulations
- Ability to provide practical legal advice directly to executive leadership
