Job Summary
Providing senior-level support for government contracts activities, the full-time Senior Specialist, Government Contracts will manage the development and administration of contracts with state and federal governments for Medicaid, Medicare, and other government-sponsored programs.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and respond to research requests related to government health care programs and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Review provider agreements, member handbooks, and marketing materials for compliance prior to submission
- Conduct structured evidence reviews and audits of regulatory mandates and disseminate information to relevant staff and leadership
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Marketplace health insurance programs, with a minimum of 1 year in government contracts
- Knowledge of program compliance for Medicaid, Medicare, and other government-sponsored programs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting information effectively
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment
