Government Contracts Specialist

Job Summary

Providing senior-level support for government contracts activities, the full-time Senior Specialist, Government Contracts will develop and administer contracts with state and federal governments for Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and respond to research requests related to government health care programs and prepare regulatory reports for filings
• Review provider agreements and other contract deliverables for compliance prior to submission
• Conduct evidence reviews/audits of regulatory mandates and ensure implementation of required changes across business units

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Medicaid, Medicare, or Marketplace programs, with 1 year in government contracts
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for government-sponsored health programs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in data analysis, report creation, and information presentation
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
