Government Insuring Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Insuring Specialist to manage the government insuring process for FHA, VA, and USDA loans post-closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit and track mortgage insurance applications for FHA, VA, and USDA loans
• Process Upfront Mortgage Insurance Premium (UFMIP) and VA Funding Fee (VAFF) payments
• Reconcile and resolve case number warnings, errors, and corrections in FHA Connection or VA WebLGY

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in mortgage post-closing, insuring, or government loan processing
• Familiarity with FHA Connection, VA WebLGY, and USDA guarantee systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
