Job Summary
Supporting a federal government agency, the full-time Government Legal Procurement Specialist will independently manage federal contract requirements, procurement actions, and compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day federal contracts SME, reviewing procurement actions and contract files to mitigate compliance and performance risks
- Advise stakeholders on contract formation, administration, modifications, and dispute resolution
- Analyze contract risks and compliance gaps, providing recommendations to prevent escalation of issues
Required qualifications
- Senior-level experience in U.S. Government procurement and federal contracting
- Strong background in contract formation, administration, and performance-based requirements
- Experience advising on complex contract actions and compliance matters
- Knowledge of fiscal law, government ethics, and federal compliance expectations
- Ability to draft and review contract documents, reports, and procedures
