Job Summary
To advocate for legislative and regulatory interests, the full-time Government Relations Director will develop and implement strategies, cultivate relationships with policymakers, and monitor relevant developments, primarily based in Atlanta, GA.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive government relations strategies aligned with company objectives
- Cultivate relationships with elected officials and key stakeholders while advocating for TriNet's policy positions
- Monitor and assess legislative and regulatory developments, proposing solutions to public policy issues affecting the company
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Typically 15+ years of relevant experience in government relations, public policy, or advocacy campaigns
- Strong network of established relationships with elected officials and key stakeholders
- Excellent political acumen and understanding of legislative processes at various government levels
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
