Government Relations Manager - Clearance Required

Job Summary

To expand government relations efforts, the full-time Government Relations Manager - Clearance Required will develop legislative strategies, engage with key stakeholders on Capitol Hill, and support Department of Defense deployments while being based in the Washington DC metro area.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Vannevar on Capitol Hill, communicating technology and mission value to stakeholders
• Own specific legislative objectives to achieve growth goals aligned with the company's broader strategy
• Partner with the Mission team to support go-to-market strategies and program deployments

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience navigating Capitol Hill's defense committees and issues
• Prior experience working for congressional Democrats in various roles is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to navigate complex legislative processes to achieve impact
• U.S. Citizenship status required for access to U.S. only data systems and export-controlled data
• Top Secret Clearance or ability to quickly obtain one is required
