Job Summary
Accountable for outbound prospecting, the full-time Government Sales Development Representative will qualify business leads across government entities, conduct outreach to key decision-makers, and collaborate with internal teams to develop lead generation strategies, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct cold calls, emails, and outreach strategies to engage with decision-makers in federal, state, and local government organizations
- Qualify business leads through proactive outreach and research, converting them into a sales pipeline
- Articulate the value proposition of products tailored to the unique needs of government customers
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in outbound prospecting and lead qualification within the government or public sector
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and navigate objections
- Experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a results-based culture and meet performance quotas
- Passion for sales and a customer-centric approach to engagement
