Government Services Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Services Director to lead its U.S. military freight program.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for the DoD book of business, including pricing and capacity sourcing
• Drive revenue growth and manage the full P&L of the government services program
• Develop and manage agent networks and performance for handling DoD freight

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in transportation or logistics, with 3-5+ years managing or selling DoD freight
• Deep understanding of DoD freight programs and the Defense Transportation System
• Hands-on experience with DoD freight platforms and tender systems
• Proven ability to manage pricing and develop growth plans at significant revenue scales
• Four-year degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred
