Job Summary

To support the Veeam Data Cloud, the remote Government Site Reliability Engineer will manage reliability work, respond to incidents, and maintain operational documentation while collaborating with various teams in a compliance-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Participate in incident response, including triage, investigation, and postmortems, while implementing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
  • Close monitoring gaps by implementing instrumentation, alerting, and dashboards, and contribute to automation and tooling improvements
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling while supporting testing and release validation workflows
Required qualifications
  • 3+ years in Software Engineering, with at least 1 year in SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevOps on cloud-hosted services
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure on Azure or a comparable provider, and familiarity with compliance-oriented environments
  • Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools, as well as IaC tools and container orchestration
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as TypeScript/JS, Go, Java, or C#
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and networking basics
