Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

Review credit documents, borrower's income and assets, and subject property title and appraisal
Make loan decisions independently, sign off on conditions, and verify information consistency
Utilize various platforms to complete required forms and maintain communication with file contacts

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years recent experience as a DE and SAR Underwriter
Minimum 5 years recent experience in FNMA, FHLMC
Comprehensive understanding of current FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, and USDA guidelines
Basic knowledge of federal and state laws in mortgage banking industry
DU/LP/TOTAL Scorecard knowledge required
