Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Underwriter on the East Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

Underwrite FHA, VA, Conventional, Bond, USDA, Jumbo, Non-QM, Renovation, and Construction loans
Communicate loan statuses with Loan Officers and Processors
Maintain knowledge of current products and provide leadership in underwriting resources

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of five years of specific government underwriting experience
Possession of valid CHUMS and/or LAPP/Sarto underwriter FHA and VA loans
Recent experience underwriting Conventional loans
Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP input
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
