Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Underwriter, Correspondent Operations Non-Delegated.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze mortgage loan applications for eligibility, accuracy, and compliance
Provide final approval underwriting of mortgage loans
Effectively communicate underwriting decisions with processors and advisors

Qualifications:

Two to four years of related experience, DE Underwriter, VA Credit, and Appraisal authority required
Mortgage industry experience
Thorough knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, and procedures
High proficiency with mortgage loan processing and underwriting systems
Proficient on computer programs required for the position
