Graduate Research Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Graduate Research Assistant to support research and policy initiatives in criminal justice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with data updates for descriptive data products
• Support the research team with data and research-related tasks

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a graduate program in public policy, criminology, sociology, social work, data science, or a related field; doctoral program enrollment preferred
• Familiarity with criminal justice data sources and concepts
• Experience with basic quantitative analysis; proficiency in Excel and Stata is essential, Tableau is a plus
• Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize literature quickly
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
