Grain Grader Level 3

Job Summary

Providing technical guidance and conducting laboratory analysis, the full-time Grain Grader Level 3 will grade various grain types, communicate with grain elevators regarding grade issues, and mentor junior staff while working onsite or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Grade and inspect a variety of grains, including wheat, oil seeds, and pulses, during laboratory and onsite inspections
• Conduct laboratory analyses and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Provide training and technical guidance to junior grading staff and communicate grading results to grain elevators

Required qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma
• Over 5 years of experience as a Grain Grader Level 2
• Previous experience in performing preliminary grain inspections and grain grading is an asset
